Wow. It's Been A While.

The title says it all. It's been a while. It has been a bit crazy starting practice, ABOS part 2, and adding a second child to the family.

The lesson here - it never slows down. And there will never be a 'good time.' Life will continue and you have to learn to balance and prioritize family and work. There will be days where you are a phenomenal surgeon, an okay mother, and a subpar wife. There will be days where you are an excellent mother but just an okay doctor. And that is ok. It is all a balance. It is all an ebb and flow.
